To guarantee sales, it’s essential to have high-quality product photographs, as they will make a difference against competitors in the same sector and provide confidence and security to the customer when making an online purchase. Therefore, it’s sometimes necessary to use product photography accessories, because depending on the product we’re going to photograph and its characteristics, you’ll need certain supports that either make it more eye-catching or help to show it in a realistic final position.

Product photography for e-commerce of major jewelry brands has a secret; invisible supports. And there are three basic types of invisible supports for jewelry photography;

Invisible support for necklaces

The invisible support for pendants allows hanging a necklace in different positions, thus generating a natural fall, without the chain appearing curved as it can when done flat. It’s made with a translucent material to let the backlight pass through, thus allowing automated solutions in product photography to remove it when taking the photo, effortlessly.

Invisible support for earrings

This consists of a completely translucent base with two “columns” on each side, from which a transparent thread hangs where the earrings are suspended and appear to be floating in the photograph.

Invisible support for watches

The watch support, a simple but very effective photography accessory, is available in different colors to adapt as much as possible to the material and color of the watch strap. And it’s as easy to use as just putting it on the inside of the watch and adjusting the diameter measure of the strap. This way, it simulates an invisible wrist on which the watch rests.

Support for bottles

Finally, the bottle supports allow elevating them, thus making the bottle not directly rest on anything and create a shadow. Additionally, the Lumipod from the ScanCube brand is backlit, and allows controlling the lighting effect on the bottle to the millimeter, as you can adjust the lighting power through the ScanCube software.
